Did you know that God loves you!?

Well... He does. Yes, yes, even when you rebel, stop caring, or forget about Him, He still loves you. I know, I know, It can be hard to believe that an all-powerful, all-knowing God could care about you at all... God sees all of your goodness, your flaws, your potential, and every blemish, but no matter who you are or what you've done, God still loves you. 

 

Jeremiah 31 v 3 says;

 

“The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
   I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

For many people this verse is easy to read but hard to swallow. Many people truly believe that God is a person of damnation and condemnation. They believe that God can’t wait to send us into the fires of hell but... God is love.

God doesn’t give us what we ask him for, just because we want it... He gives it to us because He loves us. He loves us so much that He gave his only son...

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” 

John 3 v 16

When Jesus tells us that God loved the world, Jesus did not mean that God loved only the trees, birds, mountains, and seas. What Jesus is saying is that God loves you.

God loves you...

 Yes, yes, even when you rebel, stop caring, or forget about Him, He still loves you. I know, I know, It can be hard to believe that an all-powerful, all-knowing God could care about you at all... Seriously, God made us and God loves us the way that we are, even when we turn against Him... He’s just waiting with his arms out ready to show us the love He’s always had for us.
