Frontline

Throughout the week we have looked at different ways the bible says we should love others and what love actually is. Many people see love as an attraction to somebody, or maybe even sex. This is not love.  The verses we have looked at through the week show us what true love really is. Love is a choice, a choice of the way we act around other people that we care about. As the bible says in Corinthians, love isn’t proud, boastful, it keeps no record of wrongs, and doesn’t demand its own way.  So think, if we are doing these things to our friends or family, or even boyfriend or girlfriend, are we really showing love to them?  We should love others the way God tells us to, by being patient, never giving up hope, and rejoicing with each other.  Try looking at your relationships and how you can be more loving in each situation and watch your relationships grow and blossom as you do.
