Out With The Old...

There is a song, and I admit, it is High School Musical, but it goes like this:
"So it's out with the old,
and in with the new,
Goodbye clouds of grey,
Hello! skys of blue!"
I think that this may be appropriate as we approach 2011, looking back at the things of 2010. Naturally, we will think of the good and the bad, the happy times and the sad, the brilliant choices that we made and the poor choices. So what do we take from them now? How do we move on? We must remember that it is a NEW year, so don't live in the past mistakes or bad times, or even the good ones. Look forward to making new memories, walking with God through the hard times and the good times! We know that he is there with every step that we make. The Bible tells us that we are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), we no longer have to live in the past for God has fully restored us.
So, as 2010 comes to an end and we begin a new year, remember to not let the past hold you back, live for God fully in the present! That is His will for us.
