Matthew 22 vs. 37: ‘ Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind’

In today’s society the attitudes of young people are always being watched. They are always being tested and a lot of the time grouped together into the thought that all young people generally having bad attitudes. But this doesn’t have to be the case. Our attitudes are the only thing within ourselves that we can control 100 percent of time. We may not be able to control what happens to us, but the way we react to things is something we can control constantly. You don’t have to have a bad attitude. In Philippians’’ 2 vs. 5 it describes how our attitudes should be, ‘ your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ.’ This means that when things do happen to you, before you react, just stop, count to five, and think 'what would Jesus’ attitude be like towards this?' ' How should I act?' And maybe you will find your attitude changing towards situations.

The Bible often uses the word mind rather than attitude. But what you think about is shown in your actions, and those actions lead to habits. Your habits then develop your character and your character develops your future.  So everything starts with your attitude and your mind. A good attitude is every thing. If you struggle with this then ask God to renew your thinking, and refresh your mind, and if you love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, your attitude will begin to change.
